Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight using refrigerated/flatbed trucks across Bay Area routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Communicate shipment status via telematics and mobile apps
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial truck driving experience
- Familiarity with California highway systems and weight regulations
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for on-road repairs
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend shifts during peak seasons
