Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided tractors and trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team to ensure timely delivery of freight
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Utilize electronic logging devices (ELD) for compliance tracking
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience with dedicated route preference
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in using ELD systems and GPS navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including overnight trips
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
