Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight trucks across regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch for route adjustments
- Deliver goods on schedule while maintaining pristine driving records
- Participate in ongoing safety certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL permit (or ability to obtain one)
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Basic smartphone proficiency for ELD systems
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
- No felony convictions in past 10 years
