Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles (Class A CDL required) for local and regional routes
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation while adhering to DOT regulations
- Inspect, maintain, and report vehicle conditions to ensure operational safety
- Accurately document deliveries, mileage, and cargo information using digital systems
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and secure cargo according to safety standards
- Communicate with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status and delays
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all federal/state transportation laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in using GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
