Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers over long-haul and local routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation (DOT, ELD) in compliance with federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Uphold company policies regarding safety and professional conduct at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Reliable personal vehicle for local transportation (if applicable).
