Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight to various destinations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using hand tools and other equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record and valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
