Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided commercial vehicles for regional freight transport
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols on all routes
- Efficiently load/unload shipments using provided equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logging systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections of company vehicles
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimized route planning
- Build strong client relationships through professional interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Columbus metro area and Midwest routes
- Pass DOT physical and background screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
