Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) for freight transport across Southern California routes
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and weight regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip reports, and vehicle inspection records
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status, delays, or route changes
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for streamlined loading/unloading operations
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and route planning
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and early morning shifts
- Pass background check and MVR verification
