Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (flatbeds, reefers, dry vans) for local/regional routes
- Load/unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips to ensure safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Forklift certification preferred (training available)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of CA traffic regulations
- Excellent time management and navigation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
