Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between distribution centers and client locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks per DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Verify shipment documentation and maintain secure cargo handling
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report maintenance issues and perform minor vehicle repairs
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of California highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging
