Responsibilities
- Operate company-owned tractor-trailers for dedicated routes within Alaska and Western Canada
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations
- Complete thorough pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logs (ELD)
- Provide exceptional customer service at client facilities
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Alaska weather conditions and mountainous terrain
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed for operations
