Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain strict adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Manage student behavior with professionalism and care
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Adhere to route schedules and adjust for weather/traffic
- Complete daily trip logs and incident reports
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana CDL Class B license (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Minimum 1 year driving experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Patience and ability to work with children
- Flexible availability (early mornings, afternoons)
