Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across California's Central Valley using GPS-optimized routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs (ELD compliance)
- Coordinate with dispatch for real-time load adjustments and delivery priorities
- Handle documentation (BOLs, manifests) with 99.8% accuracy
- Operate in diverse weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- 2+ years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally and operate pallet jacks
- Familiarity with California DOT regulations and HAZMAT awareness (preferred)
- Strong time management skills for flexible scheduling
- Basic navigation proficiency with GPS technology
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends (as needed)
