Responsibilities
- Operate company-owned tractor-trailers on dedicated OTR routes throughout Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining flexible start/end times within assigned shift windows
- Perform comprehensive pre/post-trip inspections and document all vehicle maintenance needs
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and company safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team using ELD systems for real-time route updates
- Manage secure cargo handling and documentation for high-value shipments
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and submit required paperwork weekly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Proficiency in ELD systems and familiarity with FMCSA regulations
- Ability to work flexible schedules (early mornings, evenings, weekends) based on route demands
- Strong defensive driving skills with zero preventable accident history
- Physical ability to handle 50+ lb cargo and climb into trailer beds
- Pass DOT physical exam and drug screening upon hire
- Must reside within 50 miles of El Paso, TX for local reporting flexibility
