Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery within Nashville metro area
- Manage efficient route planning and on-time delivery coordination
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and digital tracking systems
- Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and preventive maintenance
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Optimize load capacity and fuel efficiency for maximum profitability
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Owned box truck (26-26ft) in excellent mechanical condition
- Proven experience in freight delivery or logistics operations
- Strong knowledge of Nashville metro area and surrounding routes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic proficiency in digital dispatch systems and load tracking apps
- Commercial auto insurance with $1M liability coverage
- Strong time management and customer service skills
