Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26') for local/regional routes
- Load/unload shipments requiring dolly/hand truck use
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for optimal scheduling
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Utilize GPS tracking for real-time route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Box truck/straight truck experience (2+ years)
- Reliable 24-26' box truck (2005+ model)
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M+)
- Smartphone with reliable data/internet access
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and communication abilities
- Pass background and drug screening
