Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and food orders to residential/commercial addresses using GPS navigation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions (door-to-door, curbside, etc.)
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to time windows
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at warehouse locations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Smartphone proficiency for app-based delivery tracking
- Reliable transportation to/from depot (Oakland location)
- Basic math skills for cash handling/tip processing
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Local Oakland area knowledge strongly preferred
