Responsibilities
- Operate box truck safely and efficiently across designated routes
- Manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Optimize routes for timely delivery and fuel efficiency
- Communicate with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Ensure cargo security and compliance with transportation regulations
- Submit weekly mileage reports and expense documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Clean driving record (MVR) and no major violations in past 3 years
- Reliable box truck (2005 or newer, 26' max length)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
