Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (gravel, asphalt, debris)
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading
- Monitor vehicle performance and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Richmond area routes and traffic patterns
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds occasionally
