Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and goods throughout Raleigh and surrounding areas
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each shipment
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure optimal safety and mechanical performance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Load/unload cargo securely following safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status and delays promptly to dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Commercial Driver's License (Class B or C)
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screening
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
