Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials and debris across job sites
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all hauls
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Manage vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep between assignments
- Support team members during peak operational periods
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks in construction/logistics
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Bakersfield area routes and terrain
- DOT medical certification and regular physical clearance
- Excellent communication and time management skills
