Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, documents, and medical supplies to designated locations within Detroit and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic manifests using company mobile appProvide exceptional customer service, including package verification and issue resolution
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes to minimize fuel consumption and maximize efficiency
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Commercial Driver's License (Class B/C) or valid driver's license with 2+ years experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Detroit metropolitan area and surrounding counties
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and app usage
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
