Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for timely package/document delivery
- Plan optimized routes using GPS technology to navigate Chicago's streets
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading of packages up to 50 lbs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile delivery apps
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication in English (Spanish a plus)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods and traffic patterns
