Responsibilities
- Efficiently deliver time-sensitive packages and documents throughout NYC metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and pickups
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency using GPS technology
- Safely operate company vehicles in all weather conditions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class D Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
- Proven experience in package delivery or logistics
- Excellent knowledge of NYC streets and boroughs
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
