Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages within designated time windows
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation software to minimize delivery times
- Verify package details and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickup/dropoff interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Oakland/Bay Area roadways
- Basic smartphone navigation proficiency
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
