Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages, documents, and medical supplies across Miami-Dade County
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain recipient signatures for all shipments
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and professional demeanor
- Coordinate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and provide real-time updates
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and proper handling of fragile items
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Class E Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery tracking systems
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery windows
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred for Miami's diverse clientele
