Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver time-sensitive packages within Louisville and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for high-value shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and meet tight deadlines
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve delivery exceptions promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience with commercial vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and load/unload packages safely
- Strong knowledge of Louisville metro area and surrounding counties
- Proficiency with mobile delivery tracking apps and basic technology
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug screening required
