Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods to local businesses and residential delivery points within the Wichita metro area.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in top condition.
- Load and unload freight securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, timesheets, and customer signatures.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle any on-site inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (or appropriate local license).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience with local delivery and freight hauling is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
