Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided commercial vehicles for local and regional freight transport
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate route documentation
- Inspect and report vehicle maintenance needs before/during shifts
- Manage loading/unloading operations using company equipment
- Maintain electronic logs and comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of California highway regulations and route planning
- Strong attention to safety protocols and detail orientation
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging systems
