Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks/tractors) for local deliveries within Minneapolis metro area
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicles to ensure DOT compliance and operational safety
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using digital tracking systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while prioritizing safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
- Basic familiarity with GPS navigation and mobile communication devices
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Availability to work 20-30 hours weekly with flexible daytime shifts
