Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided freight trucks (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed)
- Plan efficient routes using GPS and dispatch systems
- Inspect and document pre/post-trip vehicle conditions
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and customers professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of HAZMAT regulations (certification a plus)
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips
