Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods on time
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo as needed
- Represent the company professionally in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (Class A or Class B CDL preferred or willing to obtain)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and logging
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning/evening shifts
