Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across Texas and neighboring states
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status and delays
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and paperwork
Qualifications
- No truck driving experience required
- Valid Class A or B driver's license (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Basic math skills for trip planning and documentation
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must be at least 21 years old
