Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Inspect and maintain vehicle safety standards pre/post-trip
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Complete defensive driving training modules
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to obtain CDL-A within 90 days of hire
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- No DUI/DWI convictions in past 5 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS/electronic logs
- Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
