Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles within designated routes
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips to ensure compliance
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Perform minor preventative maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- No DUI convictions in past 5 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic smartphone proficiency for electronic logs
- Reliable transportation to depot
- Willingness to complete paid training program
