Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or Class B) safely and efficiently on regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand trucks while adhering to weight limits.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documents.
- Interact professionally with customers at delivery and pickup locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety on the road.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for weight and load calculations.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
