Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods on local/regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery/pickup interactions
- Manage loading/unloading operations with warehouse teams
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route navigation
- Report maintenance issues and schedule vehicle servicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning starts and some weekend shifts
