Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight within the Houston metro area and regional routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Follow DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adapt to changing schedules and delivery requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- No prior trucking experience required
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and logs
- Willingness to obtain CDL-A through our training program
- Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
