Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations (FMCSA compliance)
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while ensuring proper securement
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Submit timely documentation for mileage and fuel reporting
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain Class A CDL (training provided)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and documentation
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Strong communication and time-management abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
