Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for long-haul routes during night hours
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading and documentation
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries and delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to work independently overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with NYC metro area navigation
