Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines while prioritizing safety
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain within 60 days
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of commercial vehicle operation and maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work independently and follow complex delivery schedules
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must be 21+ years old with proof of citizenship or legal residency
