Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across Texas region
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage delivery schedules and timelines efficiently
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's Permit (CDL)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and delivery paperwork
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overnight routes
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored training program
- Must be at least 21 years old
