Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates to job sites
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload materials using proper techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and site managers
- Maintain clean vehicle appearance and report maintenance needs promptly
- Support team members in completing daily delivery schedules efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Class B driver's license (or willingness to obtain during training)
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely
