Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations using company vehicles
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals while adhering to traffic regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and any issues
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and inventory management
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations within 3 years)
- Minimum 18 years of age with ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of San Francisco geography and navigation tools
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation to and from designated depot
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred but not required
