Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial addresses across the New Orleans metro area.
- Obey all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a secure working environment.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues courteously.
- Inspect vehicles before and after routes to ensure they are clean and in proper working order.
- Load and unload packages accurately, ensuring all items are accounted for and undamaged.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines and optimize routes.
- Complete daily logs and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver's License issued in the United States.
- A clean driving record with no major infractions.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and counting inventory.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
