Responsibilities
- Safely Transport Goods: Deliver packages and parcels to residential and commercial addresses throughout Nashville and surrounding areas.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe, clean, and working condition.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, handle package handling with care, and resolve any delivery issues efficiently.
- Time Management: Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely completion of daily targets while adhering to traffic laws.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, receipts, and mileage for billing and reporting purposes.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Driver’s License: A valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Technology: Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for GPS navigation, scanning, and logging.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
