Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic laws
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques
- Plan optimal routes using GPS navigation systems
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer signatures
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety and maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time updates
Qualifications
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean record
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route apps
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to depot (public transit ok)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
