Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to designated locations within Jacksonville and surrounding areas.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proper signatures for all shipments.
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and resolve inquiries professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company delivery procedures.
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and organize cargo efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years).
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and ability to follow delivery schedules.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery tracking apps.
- Positive attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- No prior delivery experience required – we provide full paid training.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
