Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on local and regional delivery routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and daily inspection reports.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Uphold a professional image while representing our brand to customers.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or be willing to attend our paid training program.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
