Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/trailers) to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving techniques at all times
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Report mechanical issues and perform basic vehicle maintenance as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience OR graduation from accredited CDL training program
- Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Must be at least 21 years old
